Please help me with finding a movie, anyone?

Now, I know I'm going to sound stupid, but I'm trying to remember this
movie that I watched as a little kid that I really loved watching. I'm
only 15 so it's definitely not around to 2000's. I can't remember
clearly but it was something about a nerd of some sorts, who's in love
with a really pretty girl, who is dating a bully/nemesis who seems to
be the antagonist. The "nerd" shares a love for disco and magic
tricks. I don't really remember what happens at the end but I remember
his little brother trying to pick up older women at a talent show
because of his manly belt buckle(I think it was a rhino buckle) and I
think the protagonist ends up dating another awkward girl who likes
him and has many things in common with him. Now I know this sounds
like I'm joking but I remember this movie. And I know the way I am
describing this may seem like it has a crazy, hysterical plot. But
please try to find and help me. I think the main character's name was
"Floyd".
